Dr. Vikki R. Coleman

Dr. Vikki R. Coleman, a proud Dallas native and graduate of South Oak Cliff High School, has established a distinguished legacy of leadership, service, and entrepreneurship. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Paul Quinn College (Cum Laude, Class of 2005), an MBA from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Dallas Baptist University, and a Doctorate in Humanities from The Board of Texas Bible Institute Seminary College of High Achievers.

For more than 25 years, Dr. Coleman has been a serial entrepreneur, author, and mentor. She is the founder and operator of Scribbles Learning Center, Inc., and the visionary behind several ventures, including Coleman Consulting & Investments, LLC (29 years), Connections Transportation, Inc. (7 years), Reliable Tax & Financial Services (14 years), Bang N Handbagz & More (19 years), and Elegant Bedding & Beyond (21 years). Each of these businesses grew from a vision into an opportunity to create jobs, support families, and inspire new entrepreneurs.

A dedicated community leader, Dr. Coleman is an active member of numerous organizations. She holds membership in the North Texas Business & Professional Women’s League, Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, NAACP (Life Member), National Council of Negro Women (3rd VP of the T. Mathis-Hawkins Section), and the National Black MBA Association. She also serves in The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Alpha Rho Chapter, where she contributes to the Housing, Founders’ Day, Baby & Beyond, and Debutante committees. Additionally, as a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Omicron Mu Omega Chapter, she has earned recognition as a “Top 25 Soror” for fifteen consecutive years, received the Spirit of Sisterhood Award, and offered service through multiple committees.

Faith is central to Dr. Coleman’s life. She is a devoted member of St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church, where she serves faithfully on the Pastor’s Supplement, Hospitality, and Women’s Ministry committees.

Beyond her professional and community commitments, Dr. Coleman values family deeply. She is the eldest of eight children, the proud mother of Kendall and Joseph II, and grandmother to Midas and Elijah. She enjoys reading, music, travel, fine dining, arts, and exclusive shopping.

Dr. Coleman’s journey as a leader has been guided by determination, faith, and an unwavering passion for service. Her businesses span industries such as early childhood education, real estate, retail, beauty, tax and financial services, and logistics—each one grounded in the belief that leadership is about service, consistency, and legacy. Through these ventures, she has empowered employees, supported families, and uplifted communities.

Her impact is measured not just in businesses built, but in lives touched. With resilience, compassion, and purpose, Dr. Vikki R. Coleman continues to demonstrate that true leadership lies in building success while inspiring the next generation to rise, lead, and make a difference.
