- Bishop Richard Harper
Bishop Richard Harper Alpha Class Honoree Leadership, for Bishop Richard Harper, has always been about service and making a meaningful impact. A proud 2003 graduate of Paul Quinn College, he now serves as President of the Houston HBCU Alumni Association, where he creates spaces for graduates to give back, mentor, and open doors for students who will one day follow in their footsteps. In his role as a high school educator, he works daily with 10th-grade students, many of whom are still discovering their voices. He pushes them to dream bigger, think deeper, and recognize the greatness already inside of them. Beyond the classroom and community, his calling as a Minister allows him to pour into people spiritually, encouraging them to grow in faith and purpose. Whether organizing alumni initiatives, teaching in the classroom, or preaching in the pulpit, Bishop Harper’s mission remains the same: to inspire, to empower, and to leave a lasting legacy of hope, opportunity, and transformation.
