E Lawrence T. SmithAlpha Class HonoreeLawrence Smith is the President and Wealth Planning Advisor of ELS Vision Wealth Management, where he is dedicated to helping individuals and families build, preserve, and transfer wealth with confidence. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP®) and holder of the CRPC® and CRPS® designations, Lawrence provides clients with comprehensive strategies in retirement planning, investment management, insurance solutions, and legacy planning. His practice is guided by a personal approach—listening carefully, understanding goals, and creating plans that adapt as life evolves. Lawrence’s leadership and impact in wealth management have earned national recognition. His honors include the Five Star Wealth Manager Award, the See It to Be It Role Model Award (Investment News, 2023), Advisor to Watch (Advisor Hub, 2024), and the Top Producer Award (Association of African American Financial Advisors, 2024). These awards highlight his commitment to professional excellence, client service, and advancing representation within the financial planning profession. In addition to his advisory work, Lawrence serves as Chairman of the Board of ASSET, an organization within Osaic Wealth, Inc., that supports African American advisors, fosters professional community, and expands opportunities to help close the wealth gap. His dedication extends beyond his profession into community service. Lawrence is a devoted member of Concord Church, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and Apex Lodge #665 (PHA F&AM) in Cedar Hill, TX. He also serves as a Board Member of the Guide Right Foundation of Dallas and as a member of the Board of Zoning Adjustments for the City of Duncanville. Through these roles, he demonstrates selflessness, mentorship, and a strong belief in empowering others through service, education, and opportunity. A proud graduate of Paul Quinn College, Class of 2003, with a B.S. in Business Administration, Lawrence continues to exemplify the values of leadership, perseverance, and service. His passion is not only in guiding clients toward lasting financial independence but also in uplifting his community and preparing future generations for success. |
