Anderson "Sip" JacksonAlpha Class HonoreeAnderson “Sip” Jackson, Jr. graduated from Paul Quinn College in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. While at Paul Quinn, he became a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Iota Kappa Chapter, in the Fall of 1980. He also excelled as a catcher on the Paul Quinn College baseball team, helping secure three consecutive conference championships in 1980, 1981, and 1982. Sip is a dedicated Mason and currently serves as Worshipful Master of Melchizedek Lodge #421 A.F. & A.M. of Texas, where he contributes to numerous community service initiatives. His leadership philosophy is rooted in service, integrity, and empowerment, centered around people and purpose. He has inspired countless others through his tireless commitment to improving quality of life, particularly through his service with God’s Grace Community Church, Oak Farms Nursing and Rehab Center, and The World Youth Foundation. Professionally, Sip built a distinguished career as a Special Agent with the U.S. Treasury Department Criminal Investigation Division, retiring in December 2016 after 32.5 years of service. In 2021, he broke new ground as the first African American developer of a residential subdivision in Brookhaven, Mississippi with the launch of Pleasant View Ranch, Gracious Country Living. This development not only made the dream of homeownership a reality for many families but also contributed to the city’s economic growth. Beyond his professional and community endeavors, Sip enjoys traveling, cooking barbecue, riding horses, fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with family and friends. |
