Dr. Calvin GreenAlpha Class HonoreeDr. Calvin E. Green graduated from Paul Quinn College in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He earned a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Towson University and a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Texas A&M University–Commerce. Born and raised in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas, Dr. Green currently serves as the College Driven GEAR UP Project Director for DeSoto Independent School District, where he provides strategic leadership, supports student success initiatives, and mentors both staff and students. He is also the founder of Docverde Consulting LLC, a multifaceted consulting firm that assists new and established authors with publishing and printing, provides leadership training and professional development for individuals and organizations, and manages special projects, logistics, and planning. Additionally, he hosts #DialoguesWithDoc, a weekly platform designed to empower and engage audiences on a variety of topics. Dr. Green attributes much of his personal and professional growth to Paul Quinn College, crediting the institution with shaping his leadership style, resilience, and professionalism. Through decades of mentoring young professionals and students, he has cultivated the next generation of leaders while continuing to “be a beacon of light” and leave a lasting, positive impact on his community. |
