Ron Murray Jr.

Beta Class Honoree

Ron is a proud graduate of Paul Quinn College, Class of Spring 2007, where he earned his degree in Communications. While still a student, he began his broadcasting career in radio under the mentorship of Professor Cheryl Smith. His career has now spanned more than two decades in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, one of the nation’s top media markets.

He currently serves as Sports Director and Commercial Production Director at Service Broadcasting Corporation (K104 and KRNB), where he is the station’s signature commercial voice while covering professional sports across North Texas.

Ron later earned two master’s degrees from Dallas Baptist University in Kinesiology and Sports Administration. Beyond broadcasting, he is a dedicated advocate for youth athletes and community upliftment.

He hosts an annual School Supply Giveaway at Pinkston High School in West Dallas and Seguin High School in South Arlington. Now entering its fifth year, the event provides essential supplies to students and families and reflects his ongoing commitment to giving back.

Through his work in media and community outreach, Ron continues to use his platform to inspire young people and strengthen communities across North Texas.
